REQUEST PROCEDURE
All requests for appearances, speaker’s bureau activities, community/charity activities by Cleveland Gladiators Players, Dance Team Members [Limited], Staff, or Team Mascot Rudi must be addressed through the Community Relations Department via post or email. The donation request letter should contain the following information; Organization name, tax i.d. number, contact information, event date and deadline for the donation. While all request are given careful consideration, submission of a request does not guarantee acceptance or an agreement between parties.
 
PROCESS PROCEDURE
The Cleveland Gladiators Community Relations department will make every effort to process your request in a timely fashion: 4 weeks prior to the event. All decisions made by the department are final.
 
CG Community Involvement Programming Community Relations Policy
CG Community Relations Department is committed to answer all requests, solicitations or suggestions for community programs and events in a timely manner. All requests or proposals must be submitted in writing on the organization’s letterhead at least (4) weeks prior to an event; some limited requests may be submitted via technology resources if the organization has already an established relationship with CG. Requests should be brief and present the necessary information about the organization and the requested event which support is being sought. There must be a limit of one request per organization within a twelve-month period, unless a sponsorship relationship has been agreed upon. CG will continually seek opportunities to participate in and support area schools and organizations in the community. CG front office members, coaches, players, dance team members (limited), and team mascot will make appearances at various events and locations within the Greater Cleveland area. Such appearances could range from appearances, event participation, to speaker bureau functions before members of the local community.
 
Eligibility
CG will provide fundraising resources and in-kind services to non-profit organizations throughout the Greater Cleveland area. In prearranged circumstances, a charitable donation may be requested in lieu of an appearance fee* when a specific topic is being addressed during an appearance or speaker bureau function.
 
Non-Eligible Recipients
• Individuals • Political Organizations, political campaigns, and candidates for public office • Trips and Tours • Seminars; also may include Conventions* • Organizations that discriminate against individuals on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital status, source of income, disability statue, veteran or familial status.

Appearances
Public appearances by front office members, coaches, players, dance team members (limited), and team mascot are made primarily during the Arena Football League season. However, team representatives are available year round to continue the mission of CG. If your organization is interested in having a representative of CG attend an event please follow the request procedure. In the request package please be specific with details concerning the event, include a description of the organization’s expectation for the CG representative scheduled for the appearance.
 
Memorabilia
Request for autographed memorabilia is limited to auction and/or raffle activities established to raise funds for non-profit, tax-exempt organizations in the Greater Cleveland area that have a 501 3 (c) Internal Revenue Service designation. It is not the CG policy to consider requests for non-profit operating expenses.
 
Tickets
Throughout the season CG has the honor of hosting non-profit organizations at home games. Priority is given to organizations that focus their efforts to improving the lives of youth and families. Organizations must be non-profit, tax exempt and located in Greater Cleveland with a valid 501 3 (c) Internal Revenue Service designation. Tickets are available on a limited basis for each game and are distributed on a first come first serve basis to organizations meeting the criteria for tickets. Groups may receive up to 20 tickets per donation. And will be allowed to secure additional tickets at a discounted group rate.
