The Q Community Fun Run 5k & 1 Mile Walk Announced!
CLEVELAND, OH - Cleveland’s 2016 NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers, 2016 Calder Cup Champion Monsters and AFL's Cleveland Gladiators will team up with Hermes Sports & Events to host The Q Community Fun Run 5k on Sunday, March 26th. The community race will feature exciting appearances by Cavs, Monsters and Gladiators entertainment teams and allow fans the opportunity to kick off the spring season by getting active in an exciting way. Select Monsters and Gladiators players are scheduled to be on-site to help tip-off the race with fans.
Sunday, March 26th at 9:00 a.m.
The Q Community Fun Run 5K will begin at 9:00 am outside of Quicken Loans Arena and will take participants on a tour of downtown. The 1 Mile Walk begins at 9:10 a.m. The race concludes at Gateway Plaza for a finisher party and awards presentation including exciting prizes for winners in all age categories. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Cavaliers Youth Foundation and Monsters & Gladiators Community Funds, which guarantees all participants will be making a direct impact on the Cleveland community and people in need in Northeast Ohio.

Race participants will enjoy a fun post-race Gateway Plaza Party that includes a DJ, snacks and awards presentation. In addition, participants in both the run and walk will receive:
- B-Tag chip timing
- Cavs, Monsters and Gladiators themed official finisher’s medal
- Race themed custom performance t-shirt
- Vouchers for an upcoming Monsters and Gladiators game
