After filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2019, the Arena Football League (AFL) made it's anticipated return to the field in 2024 after a four-year hiatus. The 2024 AFL season featured 16 teams, divided into four divisions (Central, East, South, and West) introducing new markets and reviving familiar franchises, although Cleveland was not part of that return.
